This design is inspired by a phrase that warms my heart every time it is spoken: “They live in the sky now.”
Molly and Lou often say this when talking about loved ones who have passed. Designed to be more than a piece of clothing, it is a gentle reminder of those people who live on through you, and a simple, special way to honour them.

Every time you look up at the sky, at a cloud or a bright star, you are reminded that love doesn’t disappear, it simply lives differently. The design brings together a scattered collection of stars, each one a different shape and size, just like the people we love and the memories we hold onto. Together, they create a gentle invitation to pause, look up and remember.

We make a point of talking openly about the people we love who are no longer with us. For the girls, this phrase is tied closely to two very special people, Nanny Hilda and Poppy George. Great grandparents to the girls, one from Mum’s side and one from Dad’s, they were inspiring, hardworking and humble people. People their mum and dad absolutely idolised. For our girls to feel so connected to people who existed before they were even earthside fills me with pride and love every time I hear the words spoken.

Now, when we or our friends experience loss, Lou will say, “They’ve gone to live in the sky too.”
While the gravity of that isn’t fully understood by a four year old, the softness of her words makes it feel as though everything will be okay, because they will live in the sky alongside our own special people.

It is my hope that this long sleeve tee serves as a quiet reminder of the person you honour by wearing it. That children and adults alike feel comfortable sharing who it reminds them of. And that when you see someone else wearing it, you share a gentle, knowing smile in recognition of the meaning behind their choice.
